Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) established in 1985 is a non profit organization which provides help to new emerging companies by giving them access to venture capital, educational, financial and professional resources. Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) helps in the development and finance of middle market and emerging growth businesses through organizing forums which acts as a meeting platform for entrepreneurs and executives and at the same time giving them the opportunity to interact and learn from venture capital firms, investors, financial advisers, bankers, executives and other professional service providers.
Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) tries to fulfill its mission by Breakfast Meetings which are organized every month. These Breakfast Meetings are marked by presentations given by important members of the venture capital community, entrepreneurial, academic, business and financial communities of Southern California. In addition LAVA also has yearly Investment Capital Conference which has become a very sought after affair by venture capital seekers and venture capital sources. The organization has been organizing the Conference for more than a decade now and has become the signature event of LAVA. Each year large number of professionals from investment capital community, CEOs and CFOs attend the meet. There are also Presidents and Distinguished Speakers Lectures and Investment Venture Capital Seminars from time to time which are also attended by various such professionals.
