Small Business Investment Companies or SBIC is a company licensed by the Small Business Administration to receive government leverage in order to raise capital to use for the purpose of venture investing. SBICs prefer investments between $100,000 to $250,000 and have more liberal underwriting guidelines than any other venture capital firm. |
