Orange County Start-Up Raises $217 of Venture Capital

Amp’d Mobile a new Orange County company has attracted over $217 million dollars of venture capital investment. Amp’d Mobile, started in a garage in Newport coast, has gone Hollywood big time. They have even moved into the studio that previously housed the production of the Fox TV series “24.” Peter Adderton, CEO of Amp’d Mobile, doesn’t worry about the new commute because he flies his own helicopter to work. Instead of selling just a cell phone service Amp’d Mobile sells entertainment, action, instant gratification. Its motto: "End the boredom."
