LiveVideo.com Acquires Online Video Pioneer Revver.com
Recently it has been announced that the interactive Live video community and next generation social network LiveVideo.com has joined hands with top online content creator hub Revver. This move comes days after MySpace Founder Brad Greenspan’s launched revolutionary new interactive Live video community.
LiveVideo.com is a subsidiary of online entertainment network LiveUniverse Inc. So under its new expansion policy, the company has acquired 100% of the stock of the online video pioneer Revver.com. The strategy and expansion initiatives for LiveVideo.com and Revver.com would be overseen by Brad Greenspan, Founder/Chairman/CEO of LiveUniverse. With the acquisition, LiveVideo.com has gained the Revver.com website, which apparently receives millions of visitors per month and hosts over 40 million monthly video streams.
Talking about the acquisition Kevin Wells, chief executive officer of Revver said, "Merging with LiveVideo.com and getting access to have Revver.com and its content partners promoted by LiveUniverse’s network of websites is a win-win proposition for Revver and its creators.” Further he added that, Revver is eager to leverage its team’s experience, passion for supporting independent media and knowledge of online video while empowering site content creators with a suite of tools to launch their own live shows, broadcasts, and video chats with a global audience.
Under the acquisition policy, both LiveVideo.com and Revver.com would operate as separate branded properties, with Revver operating from its existing location. Further, the two websites also have disclosed plans to immediately combine Ad Sales and Customer Service personnel for the benefit of both properties.
Revver is a video-sharing site that rewards the creators of content. Revver tracks the videos, on and off their site and monetizes it with ad revenue.
